About this Program

    The Man and Community Environment Management Consortium develops experts who can integrate environmental education, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), community pollution management, and environmental economics & policy. The program aims to create harmony between humans, communities, and natural resources while driving sustainable development at community, organizational, and public policy levels.

Study Plans

Master's Degree

  • Plan 1 — Academic Type: Thesis Only (no coursework)
  • Plan 2 — Academic Type (Mon–Fri): Coursework + Thesis
  • Plan 2 — Academic Type (Sat–Sun): Coursework + Thesis

Doctoral Degree

  • Type 1.1 (after Master's): Dissertation Only
  • Type 1.2 (after Bachelor's): Dissertation Only

Tuition Fee

Master's Degree

  • Plan 1 (Academic Type): 180,000 THB total (45,000 THB/semester)
  • Plan 2 (Academic Type, Mon–Fri): 180,000 THB total (45,000 THB/semester)
  • Plan 2 (Academic Type, Sat–Sun): 180,000 THB total (45,000 THB/semester)

Doctoral Degree

  • Type 1.1: 300,000 THB total (50,000 THB/semester)
  • Type 1.2: 500,000 THB total (50,000 THB/semester)

Remark: International students pay an additional 20,000 THB per semester on top of the standard tuition rate.

Applicant Qualifications

    Master's Degree
  1. Must meet the requirements set by Chiang Mai University for each academic year, applicable to both Thai and international students.
  2. Must hold a bachelor's degree from an institution recognized by Chiang Mai University.
  3. Any additional qualifications are at the discretion of the Integrated Science Program's academic committee.
    Doctoral Degree
  1. Must meet the requirements set by Chiang Mai University for each academic year, applicable to both Thai and international students.
  2. Must hold a master's degree (for Type 1.1) or a bachelor's degree (for Type 1.2) from an institution recognized by Chiang Mai University.
  3. Must meet the foreign language proficiency requirements as per CMU's announcement.
  4. Any additional qualifications are at the discretion of the Integrated Science Program's academic committee.
