MIdS CMU Hosts “JSPS Talk” Seminar
On Friday, March 20, 2026, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University organized the “JSPS Talk” Seminar to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration.
The seminar was honored by Yoshio Otani, Director of the JSPS Bangkok Office, and Dai Liping, who shared valuable insights on the following topics:
Overview of JSPS
JSPS International Programs
- Bilateral Cooperation
- Core-to-Core Program
- HOPE Meetings with Nobel Laureates
International Fellowships for Research in Japan
- Standard Program
- Short-term (PA) Program
The seminar welcomed participants from various faculties and units across Chiang Mai University, including Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Science and College of Art, Media and Technology.
The main objective of this seminar was to support and promote the development of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research proposals, as well as to encourage applications for research funding from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
The event was held at Meeting Room 1-101, MIdS CMU Building.
