Biotechnology

          Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology is offered at Faculty of Graduate School, Chiang Mai University. The program encompasses a curriculum with integrated learning including various aspects in biotechnological science, engineering, agriculture, and health science. The curriculum aims to produce graduates with ethics, morals, social-awareness, and honesty. Students will have the knowledge, ability, potential, creativity, thinking and analyzing skills necessary for scientific investigation and research. Our Ph.D. graduates will be able to solve problems, study and apply knowledge to develop new innovations and contribute to better quality of life in society with a sustainable economy. Students will be prepared to be efficient academic scholars, researchers, scientists, university instructors, product consultants, entrepreneurs, business owners, bureaucrats, state enterprise employees, product developers, product analysts or quality control officers in biotechnology with ethics and morals.

          Master of Science in Biotechnology is offered at Faculty of Graduate School, Chiang Mai University. The program uses a curriculum that is based on a mission to develop personal in biotechnology with an interdisciplinary knowledge from diverse biotechnological divisions. The graduates will have an advanced knowledge of biotechnology with an ability in both theoretical and practical skills. They will have a multidimensional view of biotechnological science for application in science, technology, medicine, agriculture, and industry. M.S. graduates will possess the ability to develop up to date technology as well as being prepared to work as academic scholars, researchers, scientists, university instructors, product consultants, entrepreneurs, business owners, bureaucrats, state enterprise employees, product developers, product analysts or quality control officers in biotechnology with ethics and morals.
