Master of Arts Program in Contemporary Chinese Language Teaching

Study Plans
The program offers 1 study plans:
- Plan 1 (Plan A, Plan A1): Only Thesis
- Plan 2 (Plan A, Plan A2): Coursework & Thesis
- Plan 3 (Plan B): Coursework & IS (Independent Study)
The program duration is 2 years, with a maximum of 5 years.
Tuition Fees
Thai students: 50,000 THB per semester → 200,000 THB for the entire program
International students: 70,000 THB per semester → 280,000 THB for the entire program
Admission Requirements
Plan 1 (Plan A, Plan A1):
- Applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts or Humanities with a focus on Chinese language from an institution recognized by Chiang Mai University, as outlined in the university's admission announcement.
- A minimum GPA of 2.50 is required, or other qualifications as approved by the program's academic committee and approved by the Graduate School.
- Applicants must have at least 3 years of teaching experience in Chinese language.
- A Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Level 4 or higher is required.
- Additional qualifications may be considered at the discretion of the program's academic committee.
Plan 2 (Plan A, Plan A2) and Option 3 (Plan B):
- Applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts or Humanities with a focus on Chinese language from an institution recognized by Chiang Mai University, as outlined in the university's admission announcement.
- Additional qualifications as approved by the program's academic committee and approved by the Graduate School.
- A Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Level 4 or higher is required.
