MIdS CMU Signs MoU with College of Continuing Education, Guangxi University
Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with College of Continuing Education, Guangxi University, People’s Republic of China.
The MIdS delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of MIdS, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Salinee Santiteerakul, Associate Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jirakrit Leelarungrayub, Assistant Dean, Dr. Pornsuda Insan, Assistant Dean, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jirapipat Thanyaphongphat, Chair of the Graduate Program in Contemporary Chinese Language Teaching, along with faculty representatives from the program. They joined the signing ceremony and served as witnesses to this academic collaboration between August 20–24, 2025, at the College of Continuing Education, Guangxi University, China.

This MoU aims to promote academic cooperation in the field of Contemporary Chinese Language Teaching, with the goal of strengthening international collaboration and achieving concrete outcomes. It seeks to enhance academic capacity, research, and international networking between local and overseas universities, while also promoting MIdS CMU programs to attract more domestic and international students. Furthermore, the agreement is expected to elevate the School’s international profile.
In addition to the signing ceremony, the MIdS delegation also held academic discussions with executives of Guangxi University of Finance and Economics and the School of International Education, Guangxi University of Finance and Economics, as well as visited and met with executives of Guangxi Normal University (Guilin) in the People’s Republic of China.
