MIdS CMU Organizes Knowledge Management Session on Budget Planning for Fiscal Years 2027–2028
On October 22, 2026, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, organized a Knowledge Management (KM) session entitled “Preparing for Revenue and Expenditure Planning for Fiscal Years 2027–2028” at Room 2-201, Building 2, MIdS CMU. The activity aimed to enhance personnel’s knowledge and understanding of budgetary regulations, criteria, and practices.
During the session, Policy and Planning Unit served as the speaker, providing guidance on budget structures, principles and procedures for managing expenditure budgets for Fiscal Year 2027, as well as guidelines for preparing expenditure budget requests from revenue funds for Fiscal Year 2028.
The session covered key topics, including revenue estimation, budget planning, and the preparation of budget requests in accordance with established criteria. Participants also took part in practical workshops and discussions to exchange knowledge, experiences, and perspectives.
The knowledge gained from this activity will enable participants to apply budgetary principles and practices accurately, systematically, transparently, and efficiently in their work, thereby supporting MIdS CMU in achieving its operational goals in accordance with established plans.
