On Thursday, October 29, 2026, Prof. Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, received the CMU-OIT Award 2026 at the “Excellent” level, achieving a perfect score of 100 points under the Chiang Mai University Open Data Integrity and Transparency Assessment (CMU-OIT 2026).

This achievement reflects the School’s effective management, commitment to continuous organizational development, and dedication to strengthening its reputation as a transparent organization guided by good governance. The award ceremony was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Prasert Rerkkrriangkrai, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, at Thong Kwao Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Academic Service Center, Chiang Mai University.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Apichat Sophadang was also invited to participate in the CMU-OIT Best Practice Sharing session, alongside representatives from the Faculty of Agro-Industry and the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University. The session provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and share good practices in public information disclosure, with the aim of encouraging university units to apply these practices to enhance the effectiveness of their operations in integrity, accountability, and transparency.
