MIdS CMU Receives Certificate for Carbon Management Planning, Advancing Toward a Green Office and Low-Carbon Organization
On September 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thaneeya Chetiyanukornkul, Assistant Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, together with MIdS personnel, represented the School in receiving the certificate for the “Department-Level Carbon Management Plan.”
The certificate was awarded under the project “Capacity Building for Personnel in Carbon Management to Drive Chiang Mai University Units Toward Low-Carbon and Sustainable Organizations.”
The ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Prasert Rerkkrriangkrai, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, who delivered the opening remarks and presented certificates to participating university units at the Academic Service Center, Chiang Mai University.
The initiative reflects MIdS CMU’s commitment to advancing the organization toward a “Green Office” through systematic carbon management and integrating sustainable practices into the School’s operations.
It also aims to encourage staff participation and environmental awareness, while fostering a workplace environment that values sustainability and responsible resource management.
Through these efforts, MIdS CMU continues to support Chiang Mai University’s goal of becoming a low-carbon organization and contribute to sustainable development in the long term.
