MIdS CMU Participates in Promotional Booth for the Pet Business Management Program

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, participated in a promotional booth for Pet Business Management Program at the 2025 Chiang Mai University Veterinary Conference (CMUVC 2025), organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University.

The booth was led by Associate Professor Dr. Saruda Tiwananthagorn, D.V.M., a co-developer of the program from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, together with the program development team and marketing staff from MIdS CMU. The team engaged with networks of veterinarians, alumni, livestock farmers, academics from both public and private sectors, veterinary practitioners, entrepreneurs in the animal health business, as well as members of the general public—both Thai and international—who are interested in animal care and the pet industry.

The event served to present and promote the Master of Arts and Master of Science Program in Pet Business Management (PetBiz CMU), a graduate-level program under the Integrated Science Program, MIdS CMU. The promotional activities took place during 11–12 December 2025 at the Empress Grand Hall (3rd Floor), Empress International Convention Center, Chiang Mai Province.

The program is jointly offered through collaboration among the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Faculty of Business Administration, and MIdS CMU. It is specifically designed for entrepreneurs interested in the pet business sector, as well as veterinarians aspiring to become business owners—such as operators of veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, or other pet-related enterprises. The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical and practical components, with a strong focus on developing business management and marketing strategy skills tailored to the pet industry. Learning directly from industry experts, the program aims to equip students with the professional competencies needed to successfully manage and grow businesses in the rapidly expanding pet industry.
