MIdS CMU Conducts Capacity-Building Workshops for Government Personnel and Provincial Agencies in Lamphun
On Friday, 7 November 2025, t Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, organized two professional development workshops for government personnel and agencies in Lamphun Province.
**Morning Session:
“Project Proposal Writing and Evaluation Using Artificial Intelligence (AI)”**
The morning began with a lecture on “Conceptual Frameworks for Analysis, Planning, and Evaluation,” delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Salinee Santiteerakul, Deputy Dean of MIdS CMU.
This was followed by a hands-on workshop using Generative AI tools to support:
Brainstorming and problem analysis
Designing project components
Setting evaluation criteria
Creating innovative project concepts for Lamphun
Participants worked in groups to draft Mini-Project Proposals on selected topics, along with proposed evaluation approaches.
**Afternoon Session:
“Meeting Management Using Artificial Intelligence (AI)”**
The afternoon training focused on using Generative AI for meeting management, including:
Creating meeting agendas
Transcribing and summarizing meetings from audio/video files
Producing professional meeting summaries
Participants applied AI tools to summarize real or simulated meeting data and practiced producing executive summary reports and presentations. The workshop was delivered by the expert team from Data Agency Co., Ltd.
The event was held at Room 2-202, 2nd Floor, Building 2, MIdS CMU.

Training Objectives
The workshops aimed to strengthen the capacity of government personnel and provincial agencies in Lamphun by enhancing their knowledge and skills in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to their work processes. Participants learned how to use AI for:
Provincial strategic planning and analysis
Project proposal development and evaluation
Effective and modern meeting management
This initiative supports more systematic, efficient, and innovative public-sector operations and reduces workflow inefficiencies.
The activity is part of the academic collaboration under the MoU between Lamphun Province and Chiang Mai University.
