MIdS CMU Organizes Workshop on “Using ChatGPT as a Substitute for SPSS in Statistical Data Analysis”
Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, organized a workshop on “Using ChatGPT as a Substitute for SPSS in Statistical Data Analysis.”
The workshop was conducted by Assoc. Prof.Dr. Ekarat Boonchiang, Associate Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School and a faculty member of Consortium in Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity under Program in Integrated Science, MIdS CMU. — a program under MIdS CMU.
The training was designed for graduate students at Chiang Mai University to enhance their skills and apply the potential of AI effectively in statistical data analysis. Participants engaged in hands-on workshops and gained practical experience in using AI tools on topics such as:
Introduction to ChatGPT for data analysis
Techniques for basic statistical analysis and correlation analysis
Multivariate analysis and data visualization
The workshop was held over two days (24–25 August 2025), divided into four sessions (two per day), conducted in both Thai and English, at Room 2-202, Building 2, MIdS CMU.
