On Friday, April 25, 2025, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, organized an educational seminar under the Ecosystem Project. As part of the program, participants visited Thammasat University (Rangsit Campus) to study best practices in the management and development of Multidisciplinary Programs (MDPs). The delegation was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Salinee Santiteerakul, Deputy Dean of MIdS CMU, along with Dr. Pornsuda Insan, faculty members, and support staff from various departments of Chiang Mai University who had completed the 2025 Ecosystem Project training.
In the morning session, the group visited Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education of Thammasat University to explore approaches to Work-Integrated Learning (WIL), the development of soft skills, and the management of skill transcripts. The insights gained will be used to inform curriculum design at CMU, ensuring that programs are aligned with current skill demands and labor market needs. This continuous development aims to keep education relevant, learner-centered, and responsive to an ever-changing knowledge and skill landscape.
