Developing English Language Skills for Students of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, has organized an English proficiency development program for its students. This initiative aims to support students who meet the foreign language requirements by enhancing their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English more effectively. The program seeks to boost students' confidence in using English for academic presentations and communication, as well as to prepare them for further studies or careers requiring English as a medium of communication. The support will be provided in three formats as follows:
   1) Support for Graduate Students to Attend Training Programs at the Humanities Academic Service Center (HAS Center), Faculty of Humanities, Chiang Mai University
Eligible students may receive financial support of up to 2,000 Baht (two thousand Baht) for attending courses provided by the HAS Center. This applies to students who have achieved CMU-eTEGS scores of at least 40 but less than 60 (for regular programs) or less than 65 (for doctoral and international programs).
   2) Support for Graduate Students to Attend Training Programs at the Language Institute, Chiang Mai University (LICMU) Eligible students may receive financial support of up to 2,000 Baht (two thousand Baht) for attending courses provided by LICMU.
   3) Support for Graduate Students to Attend Training Programs at Other Institutes Eligible students may receive financial support of up to 2,000 Baht (two thousand Baht) for attending courses offered by other institutions, provided that the programs meet the conditions specified by the university's announcement.
